Meet Samone
My heart lies with working with you, a small business owner.
Hi, I’m Samone the Soulful CPA. I’m a licensed CPA in both Washington and California with 6 years of tax and 15 years of accounting experience. My career started as a bookkeeper at a local autobody shop, assisting the owner with creating his first business. Once I graduated college my gut told me I needed to leave the small town I knew and spread my wings. Although challenging on many levels I followed my gut and moved from California to NYC. There I worked at a large public accounting firm filing tax returns for high-net worth individuals, but the 60-hour work weeks weren’t for me. So, I transitioned to a smaller firm preparing books and tax returns for well-known actors and actresses; and as glamorous as that was, I realized my heart lied elsewhere.
My heart lies with working with you, a small business owner. I pride myself on being a nontraditional CPA in that, I care about more than just the numbers; I care about you and your small business and assisting you in making the impact you intended.
As a small business owner myself, I understand how precious time can be; in fact, I believe it is our greatest asset. With flexible hours, the ability to service multiple states, and work remotely we can work together during times that don’t interfere with your day-to-day business operations. Whether you are just starting out or have been in business for years I’m confident I can assist you in creating the financial success you desire and deserve.

Outside of being a CPA and small business owner I have many other passions. In my free time you can find me, hiking through the PNW, working out, on my yoga mat, dancing in my living room, or traveling to new places.
